How the ledger is read

A trade's cost is its dirty value: the clean price you dealt at, plus the accrued interest due at settlement, times the nominal divided by 100. That is the money that actually leaves or arrives — a clean price alone would understate what a buy costs.

Net cash signs each trade by that figure: a BUY is cash out, a SELL and a REDEMPTION are cash in. The totals row spans only the trades the filter currently shows, so it follows the table rather than the whole ledger.

An amended row shows the corrected trade. A deleted trade is reversed on the ledger rather than removed, so it stops counting towards its portfolio while the history of the correction stays visible.

The settlement date, tax rate and fees recorded with each trade are the ones the portfolio's figures use later, so a trade carries its own assumptions rather than inheriting today's.
