The coupon calendar lists every payment falling due across the gilts in issue; the export writes exactly the window, filters, holding and tax band on screen.
The income calendar is one list of every coupon and redemption falling due across every gilt in issue, from the report date forward. It answers what lands, and when, without opening a gilt at a time, and its export takes the view you have built away with you.
Setting the window
| Control | What it changes |
| Window | How far forward the calendar runs from the report date: 30 days, 90 days, 180 days or 12 months. |
| Gilt type | All gilts, conventional only, or index-linked only. |
| Events | All events, coupons only, or redemptions only. |
| Find a gilt | Narrows to one gilt by name, ticker or ISIN. The search keeps the window, type and event filters, so searching composes with them instead of resetting them. |
Every control is a link or a plain form submission, so the whole page works with no JavaScript and any window can be bookmarked or sent on.
Showing amounts for a holding
A nominal holding in pounds re-expresses every amount on the page, from per-£100 figures to the cash that holding would actually receive. An after tax band then adds a net estimate beside the gross one, using the same whole-percent bands as the rest of the site; only coupons are netted, because a redemption is returned capital rather than income.
An index-linked gilt's future coupons are estimates. The coupon is the real coupon scaled by the latest published index ratio, with no further inflation assumed, and rows that rest on that assumption carry an estimate marker. The card above the table explains it in full.
Reading it
The table is grouped by calendar month and then by payment date, with a month strip above it to jump rather than scroll. Each row is one event: its type, the gilt, the amount and the date. A coupon and a redemption on the same day are two rows, which is the point — the redemption is capital coming back, and mixing it into an income figure would overstate the income of that year.
Taking it away
- Set the window, the gilt type and the events you want.
- Set the nominal holding and, if you want a net figure, the tax band.
- Choose CSV in the page head.
The download describes the page on screen rather than the defaults: the window, the filters, the holding and the band all travel with it, because the link is built from the same parsed filters the controls are. It is not the page's month-by-month totals — it is one row per gilt per payment event, which is the shape a spreadsheet can sum and pivot.
What the calendar is not
It is a projection from one report date, not a schedule of record. The dates come from the same gilt detail the individual gilt pages render, so the two agree by construction, but the amounts move with the index ratio and with the holding you type.
For the coupons on gilts you actually own, cash flow analysis projects from your booked trades across all maturities instead of from the whole universe, and can group by UK tax year, calendar year or month. The coupon calendar guide takes the calendar a period at a time; this page is the window on the whole market.
The terms this page draws on are the glossary's coupon, index-ratio, income-estimate and income-per-100.
